Mental Health First Aid Training

Each year, 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Mental health problems can affect anyone in the community, and inaccurate and stigmatising attitudes towards people with mental illness are common. For people suffering from mental illness, it is important to receive the support and direction to help guide their healing journey.  Reaching out to an accredited Mental Health First Aid professional can help break down the barriers, remove the stigma and help start a conversation.

For individuals who are interested in Standard (Adult) Mental Health First Aid Training, our upcoming course will run over 4 weeks on;

Monday 11th July

Monday 18th July

Monday 25th July

Monday 1st August

From 5:30 – 8:30pm at Sumone, West Burleigh

The Course length is 12 hours, however Megan has broken this down into four, three hour sessions to make sure that you are getting the most from the training.

Youth Mental Health Training is currently taking place, check back soon for dates for our next program.
